As a therapist, I’m always careful with my posture, hands, and body, but I forgot about my jaw! I realized I’d been unconsciously clenching it - even when focusing on my job, exercising, or anything I’m concentrating on!
The dentist said my teeth are all good, just a bit of pressure. Everything that happens brings something good, this reminded me to be mindful and gentle. I’m feeling much better now and sure, we’re always learning, aren’t we?

I’m deeply grateful to Dr. Shirley Sherwood for this recognition and for selecting him this year — a true honour for him and our family.
