SUPPORTING LOCAL WOMEN IN OUR COMMUNITY...

1 in 4 women with cancer under 50 will experience early menopause due to cancer or its treatment. Often these women can not avail of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) depending on their type of cancer.

MENO-CAN is a new, unique support and information programme designed for cancer survivors in each stage of menopause – from early onset to post-menopause. Educational in nature, the programme aims to provide a safe opportunity to understand and manage symptoms of menopause effectively, providing knowledge and tools to thrive. Book ahead, as places are limited.

Having already delivered a successful series of workshops, we are delighted to host another, beginning on Monday, 13th February, at 10.30am. The workshops will be facilitated by Pam Watson, a psychotherapist with an MA (Hons) in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and a well-being coach.

For more information, contact Pam or to book a place, please get in touch with Gort Cancer Support at 086 1724500.
