Cellulite, swelling, heavy legs, and water retention can have many different causes. However, one common contributing factor is the lymphatic system.
The lymphatic system helps drain excess fluid from tissues, plays a role in removing metabolic waste products, supports the immune system, and helps maintain fluid balance in the body. Despite its importance, many people overlook its role in overall health.
Cleavers (Galium aparine) is one of the most valued herbs traditionally used to support the lymphatic system, as well as healthy circulation and kidney function. It is also known for a variety of other traditional uses, including supporting healthy skin, helping relax smooth muscles, and providing anti-inflammatory properties.
It's important to remember, however, that even the best herbs cannot replace the basics. If your diet is dominated by highly processed foods, you don't drink enough water, and you lack regular physical activity, the underlying problem is unlikely to disappear. Healthy nutrition, proper hydration, regular movement, and quality sleep remain the foundation of good health.
For me, tinctures are one of the easiest ways to use herbs. In some cases, they may offer certain advantages over other preparations, and they're also very convenient-there's no need to brew tea and wait. You simply mix a small amount of tincture with water, and it's ready to use. 🙂
⚠️ Important:
• Alcohol-based tinctures are intended for adults only and should not be used when contraindications are present.
• Herbs may interact with medications, supplements, and other herbs. If you take any medications or are under medical supervision, consult a qualified healthcare professional before using herbal products.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding are among the contraindications for many herbs, including cleavers.
• If you forage herbs yourself, always make sure you have identified them correctly before using them in your kitchen or herbal preparations. 😉

We live in a world where we’re constantly told that everything is unhealthy.
Polluted air, soil, and food. On top of that - screens, stress, rushing around, and negative news every single day.
And honestly… unfortunately, that’s the reality today. It’s hard to find anything that’s 100% “healthy” anymore.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t be healthy ourselves 😉
It’s worth realizing that blaming everything on “modern times” is often just the easiest excuse to stay stuck in habits that don’t serve us - instead of gradually choosing a better version of ourselves.

Our bodies are designed to handle a lot - we just need to support them properly.
And this isn’t about living a perfect life. It’s about consciously choosing things that work in your favor on a daily basis 🙂
That’s why I put together a few simple basics we often forget about…

🌿 DON’T JUST EAT - NOURISH YOUR BODY
Focus on enough protein and healthy fats. Make your diet nutritious, natural, satisfying, and TASTY - because when food actually tastes good, it’s much easier to stay consistent and avoid junk food cravings.
Choose better-quality products whenever you can. Not everything has to be “organic,” but it’s worth paying attention to the foods you eat most often.

🌿 DON’T DO WHAT EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING - DO WHAT YOUR BODY NEEDS
Supplements, herbs, and certain treatments can be powerful, but choose them wisely and according to your own needs.
Make sure to monitor your vitamin D levels and adjust your dosage properly. And if you supplement vitamin D, don’t forget about K2 😉

🌿 GET REGULAR CHECKUPS
Even if you feel fine, it’s still worth doing basic bloodwork at least once a year.

🌿 TAKE CARE OF YOUR GUT
“All disease begins in the gut” - remember that?
Support your gut health through diet, lifestyle, and a healthy microbiome.
And remember — bloating, stomach pain, or digestive issues are not just “normal.” Your body is often trying to tell you something.

🌿 LIMIT SUGAR AND ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS
I probably don’t need to explain sugar anymore, but… don’t believe people who say Diet Coke is “healthy.”
At the end of the day, cola is still cola.
And yes, if you drink it occasionally, the world won’t end - but replacing sugar with aspartame doesn’t automatically make it a better choice. Especially considering how controversial aspartame still is…

🌿 STAY CLOSE TO NATURE
Sunlight, fresh air, and spending time in nature help regulate your nervous system and hormones.
It’s one of the most underrated free therapies for your body.

🌿 MOVE YOUR BODY
The gym and workouts are great, but don’t underestimate a simple walk outside either. Both matter.

🌿 TAKE CARE OF YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM AND SLEEP
Make time to slow down, process emotions, and improve your sleep quality.
Reduce blue light exposure at least an hour before bed or use blue light filters.

🌿 EDUCATE YOURSELF AND LEARN TO LISTEN TO YOUR BODY
Don’t leave your health entirely in someone else’s hands.
Learn to understand your own body and recognize the signals it gives you.
Read, listen, and keep learning so you can make conscious decisions.

🌿 KEEP BALANCE AND COMMON SENSE 🙂
Want to have pizza, ice cream, or spend a whole day on the couch watching TV sometimes?
That’s okay - we’re all human. Just don’t let that become your everyday lifestyle.

A healthy lifestyle isn’t obsession or perfection…
It’s choosing what serves you as your normal - and treating what doesn’t serve you as the exception, not the rule 😉

That’s the short version but a solid base to better and healthier life🙂

Sending love 💚

If you want to support more stable blood sugar and insulin levels, these simple tricks can really make a difference 😊

And this isn’t only about people with insulin resistance or those trying to lose weight. It actually applies to all of us - because blood sugar spikes don’t just affect fat storage, but also energy levels, appetite, and cravings.

It’s also worth remembering that simple carbs aren’t just sweets or white sugar. They also include products made with white flour or white rice - like white bread, cereals, pasta, etc.

Why do these methods work?

👈 Fat, protein, and fibre slow down stomach emptying and the absorption of glucose. This means your blood sugar is less likely to spike after dessert or white bread. Ideally, have something that includes all 3 of these elements, but even vegetables, avocado, or olives on their own can already help 🙂

👈 Apple cider vinegar may help slow down glucose absorption and improve the body’s response to carbohydrates. A common way to use it is 1 tablespoon diluted in water about 15–30 minutes before a meal higher in simple carbs. Important - don’t drink it undiluted, as it may irritate your stomach and damage tooth enamel.
You can also try apple cider vinegar tablets.

👈 A short walk after dessert helps your muscles use some of the glucose from the bloodstream more quickly. Even 10–15 minutes of light movement after eating may help keep blood sugar more stable and reduce a large insulin spike.

And of course - ideally, we wouldn’t eat sweets 😉
But life is life. Sometimes we eat something less healthy and the world doesn’t end because of it.
That’s why it’s good to know a few simple tricks that can help your body handle it better 😊

But remember - if your glucose levels fluctuate a lot and it happens often, it’s a good idea to get some tests done and look into it further.

We often think that taking care of ourselves requires complicated treatments or intense workouts. It’s easy to get lost in all of it and lose sight of what really matters…
The gym, yoga, different therapies, massages - all of that can be great additions to support your health and improve how you look. But don’t forget the basics.
No “miracles” will help if you’re constantly living in tension and disconnected from your nature. If you spend your whole days indoors, and every free moment is filled with social media or TV. If your only way to relax is a series or a video game…
If you want your body to truly work with you and be healthy - in the fullest sense of the word - start with the foundations.
They matter the most 💚

You have to admit, it’s hard not to agree…
What’s sad is that most people don’t even notice it. And it’s not just about nutrition - the neglect shows up in every area, including lifestyle and mental well-being.

Maybe it’s time to take an honest look at ourselves and ask how we’re really treating ourselves 🩷

Of course, there are lot of things that can cause bloating - like parasites, too much fiber or the well-known IBS. I could go on, but I wanted to focus on the ones that aren't always obvious and are fairly easy to fix.
Remember, your gut is the foundation of your health - don't ignore the signs it’s sending you 🩷

I’m curious to hear your take on this...

Personally, I still only wear traditional wired headphones, and I have my reasons. Even if the guy in this video is being a bit dramatic, there are actual scientific premises and studies suggesting that wireless headphones might not be as safe as we think.

1. Back in 2011, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classified radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF) as Group 2B, meaning they are potentially carcinogenic to humans.

2. Most safety standards are based on whether a device "heats up" tissue (the thermal effect). However, critics point to biological effects. Studies suggest that constant exposure to low-dose radiation can trigger cells to produce free radicals, potentially damaging proteins and DNA.

3. Some researchers have raised concerns about how radio waves affect the permeability of the blood-brain barrier. If this natural shield is weakened by radiation, toxins that are normally kept out of the bloodstream could leak into brain tissue.

4. There’s a hypothesis that electromagnetic fields can affect voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCCs) in cell membranes. Overstimulating these channels causes an influx of calcium into the cell, which can disrupt metabolism and electrical signaling in the brain.

5. Newer reports suggest that waves emitted by devices worn close to the neck and head might correlate with thyroid changes, including the development of nodules.

These are just a few potential risks. People often say there isn’t enough research to 100% confirm harmful effects. But here’s the kicker: there isn't enough to confirm they’re 100% safe either! We can’t yet study the cumulative, long-term effects because this technology simply hasn’t been around long enough.

If there are already studies and indicators suggesting harm, is it really worth the risk just for a bit of extra convenience? I don't know about you, but having a wire doesn't change my life one way or the other. If I’m going to wear headphones, I’d rather go with the ones that definitely won't "fry" my brain! 😆

I don't know how often you hear this, but for me, it's a daily occurrence 🙈

And just to be clear - I’m not saying we can’t occasionally eat something that doesn’t serve us. However, on a daily basis, we should stick to healthy products that actually make us feel good. A lot has changed over time - both the food itself and our bodies.

That’s why I personally try to avoid things like wheat or store-bought cow’s dairy in my everyday diet.
This doesn't mean I don't grab a pizza once in a while. After all, I'm a human too! 😄 But over time, I’ve realized that eating like that every day simply isn’t worth it for my body.
I hope you also have a healthy approach to this all! 🙂

Amazing, right? I can’t believe it myself! 🤩
Especially since I gained a bit of weight over winter, and I’m at a point in my cycle where my waist should actually be a bit bigger 🙃
But hey… a few clicks and it’s gone. That’s often how it looks, unfortunately.
And I’ll be honest , I use filters sometimes too, especially when the lighting is bad and my ring light gives my face that weird “patchy” look 😆 And I usually export videos from apps with AI touch-ups for better quality, because, well… social media 🙃
And I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that - even if someone tweaks things a bit because they feel insecure about posting themselves “raw.” As long as it’s not about misleading people or promising results that aren’t real.
These days, you really have to be careful. And most importantly -stop comparing yourself to others, because we don’t actually know what things really look like behind the scenes.
Any change should be about feeling better and improving your health - and the looks are usually just a side effect 🙂
What do you think about all of this?
Who knew what was really going on from the start, and who didn’t? 🙃
