💜 Indeed it does leave us with cPTSD and much more!
Healing is definitely possible, unfortunately there’s no timeline, everyone is different and cope differently, which can feel so infuriating.
When I asked my therapist, she said it takes as long as it takes, I wasn’t impressed by her comment.
Decades later I understand what she meant. 💜
