Morning! The Marie Keating Mobile Unit will be in front of the pharmacy this Friday, May 30th, from 10:30am to 3:30pm. A Registered Nurse will be available to answer questions and provide written information on the main cancers, the 3 cancer screening programmes and cancer prevention. UPDATE: The free HRT scheme is due to commence on the 1st of June at Walsh's Pharmacy, Fermoy. For all customers who already have a Medical Card or DPS (Drugs Payment Scheme) card it will be a seamless transaction. You must do nothing. For those patients who do not have either of the above the HSE requires you to register for a DPS card in advance of June 1st. You can register for this at www.mydps.ie.
