Dear 20-Min Yogis,
The summer is shifting… leaves turning, rain and coolness, harvesting apples, and my kitchen is full of tomatoes, beetroot, basil and cucumbers.
And in just two days, we begin our next 21-day yoga journey together:
EMBODY — a daily return to the felt sense of being alive in our yoga practice.
My summer?
At times I felt like a wild garden woman.
Barefoot in the garden, harvesting seaweed, chopping wood, pickling vegetables, snoozing, and resting between.
It was spacious and held a ruggedness and a vibrancy that felt very real and true to me.
I ran (well—shuffle-jogged), trained (huffed and puffed), struggled and kept training.
And through it all, I kept wondering: When does ease arrive? Where is the lightness I remember?
But here's the thing—change doesn’t arrive neatly.
If we don’t meet what’s in the way—nothing moves.
So now, I welcome the discomfort, the shambles, the heavy legs, the awkward transitions.
Because they’re part of it too.
Part of returning to my running practice.
Part of embodying.
And you?
How was your summer?
What are you returning with?
This September, we’ll practice listening in.
Feeling the tone and texture of our bodies.
We’ll explore sensory awareness as a path to regulation.
We’ll cultivate strength, flexibility, and balance—not as goals, but as tools to cultivate presence.
Together, we’ll reinhabit the subtle spaces of body and breath, one 20-minute session at a time.
EMBODY begins September 1st.
Join live at 7AM or practice anytime that suits you.
Let this be a journey back home to yourself.
With love and earth under my fingernails, and really mucky toes
