I received my initial training at the World Renowned Academy of Natural Health in London under both the Massage Training Institute (MTI) and ITEC. I first qualified as a Holistic Massage Practitioner and have furthered my career much further by qualifying in Neuromuscular and Physical Therapy, Trigger Point Myofascial Dry Needling, Clinical Reflexology, Clinical and Spiritual Aromatherapy Healing Massage, Reiki Master Practitioner, Orthopaedic Sports Massage, Ayurvedic Massage Practitioner, Chinese Cupping Massage, Sacral Abdominal Massage for Fertility and Digestive problems and as a Master of Crystology (Crystal Therapy).

I run my own successful practice, carrying out Angelic Ascension Atlantean Energy and Intuitive Healing, I am also a Sound Healer working with Adults and Children, I do most Complementary Therapies and Physical Therapy in centres for Ability West and Brothers of Charity, working with special needs children and adults.

I also work with local GAA teams, Soccer, runners, and rowers, as well as the local community in Connemara and Salthill, Galway City, County Galway.

I am available to do presentations and stress and relaxation workshops for local charities and businesses and onsite massage services in the corporate sector.

I am a Complementary Therapy Tutor based in Galway and I am a CIMI IAIM qualified Infant Baby Massage Instructor, Lifeskills Consultant and City and Guilds Qualified Tutor.

I am also working with the Carers Association of Ireland providing Stress and Lifeskills one day workshops and have just finished two further courses on stress for the Department of Science and Education for the parents of teenagers in Carraroe and Rosmuc Schools in Connemara.

Sound Healing Galway

1 to 1 Sound Healing Sessions can contain a tailor made healing program containing, Sonic sound massage with Tibetan and/or crystal bowls, heat can be added to enhance the treatment, I will work with tuning forks on solfeggio frequencies and/or whole body, chakra balancing or interval healing from the harmonic spectrum, using a combination of tuning forks both weighted on the body and un-weighted off the body

I will also have these instruments available to use during our session, ocean drums, rain sticks, buffalo drums, tingshas, tibetan bowls, crystal bowls, rattles, chimes, and solfeggio pipes and planet tuners.

It is my intention to lead you through a very deep and clearing or empowering session of relaxation, working through your etheric fields, cells, tissues and organs, bringing sound throughout your whole body to help with whatever it is you need.

Of course if you wish you can have just one instrument or set of instruments throughout like a tibetan bowl sonic massage which is amazing or a “Body tune up” with tuning forks, whatever it is you need from your sound healing therapy session I will try to include into my treatment for you.

Your treatment will always be for “your highest good”!

What to expect during a Healing with Sound Session with Norah @ Connemara Healing

You will have a brief consultation with me so we can discuss your requirements, medical history etc

You will remain fully clothed at all times, either on a massage table or on a comfortable padded area on the floor.

During the first session it will be more about your overall wellbeing and the intention will be to bring your body to balance and then decide if any further sessions may be beneficial.

The first session is for general well-being and relaxation. Your response to the initial session will determine which further sessions would be most appropriate.

I will normally use different instruments unless you prefer one type, the instruments I will normally use are Tibetan and Crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, solfeggio, harmonic spectrum, whole body tuners, Om Forks, Chaka Forks, specialist forks, such as weighted and unweighted for joints, nerves, muscles, stress etc, some on the body some off, drums, such as Ocean and Buffalo, Rainsticks, Chimes, Rattles and gongs.

During your session I may use gentle and focused touch by placing my hands on various locations to balance or hold to enhance the treatment by intensifying vibrations.

A session can be between 60-90 mins.

Sonic Sound Massage with Tibetan Bowls

Specifically therapeutically tuned singing bowls are placed on the fully-clothed body or into the aura and tapped and rimmed gently. The sounds are calming and harmonizing and the gentle vibrations of the singing bowls work on the body to bring deep relaxation and a feeling of well-being. Warm water, crystals and colour can also be included within this treatment.

Sound Healing with Interval Sequences

Using musical intervals to release energy blockages and stimulate energy flow, in specific areas or for specific ailments, this is very beneficial on the mental/emotional level.
