PALS Autism Support Group

PALS Autism Support Group PALS is a group of volunteers supporting autistic people and their families. We run events throughout the year including summer activities & family days.

We include the whole family to lesson isolation. We also run numerous coffee mornings and workshops PALS autism support group is based in Loughrea, Co Galway. We support our members with meet ups in the form of coffee mornings monthly. Evening meet ups once a month. We organise activities for our members. We advocate for our members around service provision. We advocate around transitioning services for children turning 18 into adulthood. We have liased with Irish Wheelchair Association to ensure services locally for our age 18 + yrs. We are affiliated with Arch Clubs and DFI ( Disability Federation of Ireland). We also have a private Facebook group for our members only, which regularly posts up dates on our activities and a private WhatsApp group. We can be contacted by email palsgroup20@gmail.com

Our Autism Resource Fair yesterday evening was a resounding success. Lots of information shared, connections made and conversations had.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for coming - public and private organisations, businesses for taking a table, our members and families for attending, and to the Loughrea Hotel & Spa for providing the spaces and teas, coffee and biscuits. It was lovely to see everyone come together and to see how we can make a difference in our local area and experience the wealth of services on our doorstep and further afield. We hope to welcome each and everyone of you back again.
