THE CONSCIOUSNESS THAT FREES ITSELF from blocking patterns...
🎯The journey of spiritual awakening is often misunderstood, especially when awakening is associated with the human being itself, as if he or she were the protagonist of the great shift in consciousness. However, the truth that emerges from deep study and spiritual practice reveals something more subtle and profound: the one who awakens is not the human. One awakens from the dream of being human.
🎯This statement may sound paradoxical, but it carries within itself the core of non-dualistic spirituality. At the heart of esoteric traditions and teachings such as A Course in Miracles, what is called "human" is just a character, a transitory identity that we temporarily assume within a larger narrative — the dream of separation. This dream makes us believe that we are limited, separate from the whole, subject to birth, death, and all experiences in between.
🎯True awakening is not, therefore, an improvement in human life, nor an elevation of our earthly condition to a higher level. It is the transcendence of one's own identification with humanity. It is the recognition that the "I" that we have always believed ourselves to be is nothing more than a construction, an illusion created by the mind.
🎯One then awakens to the truth that we were never just human. What awakens is the consciousness that, for a time, identified itself with the human form, but which, in reality, is limitless, eternal and one with the whole. Upon awakening, this consciousness realizes that the human being is only a role played in the great theater of existence.
🎯This change in perspective, of seeing oneself not as the human who awakens, but as the consciousness that awakens from the dream of being human, completely transforms one's understanding of life and purpose. It frees us from attachment to form, to the dramas and illusions that feed the ego and allows us to live from a place of deep and unchanging peace.
🎯Spiritual practice, meditations, reflections on the true meaning of who we are, serve to remind us, repeatedly, of this truth. And although we can still act and interact as humans, we do so with the awareness that this identity is only a tool, a vehicle for temporary experiences, while the essence of who we are remains always intact and awake.
🎯Awakening, therefore, is not an end, but a beginning. It is not the human that is illuminated, but the light of consciousness that awakens beyond the human, revealing that we have always been, and always will be, pure presence, the eternal now, beyond any dream.
