I offer weekly Yoga classes (adults & kids), for all levels in a beautiful new yoga studio by the sea. All Classes on Thursday Evenings @ The Yoga Studio, Old Driving Range, Salthill H91 E9C3
Level 1 @ 6.15pm Thursdays (60 minutes)
Most of the students have a little yoga experience, but choose this class as the pace isn't too intense, and many are coming back to yoga after a long break and want to go over the basics. Classes are themed each week. Please bring a mat and any other props you may have. Mixed Ability @ 7.30pm Thursdays (75 minutes)
If you are comfortable with the basics and would to develop your practice more, this class is for you. Poses are held for longer, we explore some level 2 asanas/pranayama and students will learn how to practise inversions -eg headstand and shoulder-stand. This class is a little longer to allow for some restorative practices towards the end- which are a great anti-dote to stress. - a great complement to the more active part of the class. All welcome! The use of Props
Props like blocks, belts and chairs are used to help with alignment and to help students access the asanas (postures). Props can be used to help investigate and deepen the experience of asana. Props can enable students to explore the effect of the asanas, to spread awareness to unexplored bodily regions. Kids Yoga Thursdays (50mins)
Kids get to practise yoga and develop their flexibility, concentration and body-awareness in a fun and playful way. Partner yoga, cooperative games and story will be used creatively to allow the children experience the joy of yoga asana while also having fun. Breathing and meditation techniques will be interwoven to help children feel balanced and calm. Kids get to cosy up at the end with blankets while they enjoy a guided visualisation. Upcoming courses:

Yoga practice is our opportunity to be with ourselves and observe our mind and its fluctuations in order to learn how to restrain it. That is the greatest gift of yoga.
