MOTHER INDIA INCENSE 🌺

The Mother's (India) Fragrances are made using the 'masala method', whereby all the ingredients of the incense are mixed together in a paste, and then rolled by hand onto a stick. This mixture is different for each fragrance. Because there is no need for chemicals, it gives a much purer fragrance and a cleaner burning incense. It also allows us to use a much wider range of ingredients for our incense, including wood powders, bark, petals, and high quality oils.

The scents of flowers are generally subtle and delicate. Charcoal, which burns without a scent of its own is used for the floral fragrances. These sticks are black. The brown sticks contain a variety of wood powders and herbs and are used to create more woody fragrances like amber. This masala method way of making incense is very labour intensive.

The Mother's (India) fragrances uses resins, pure essential oils and attars and a delicate blend of scented flowers, leaves,
charcoal and wood powders, to create the most outstanding incense fragrances.

Blending and rolling incense by hand from the finest ingredients avoids the use of chemicals.

It creates a light, clean burning incense that leaves a minimum of smoke and slowly spreads a gentle aroma.

The Tarot of Marseilles is a standard pattern of Italian-suited tarot pack with 78 cards that was very popular in France in the 17th and 18th centuries for playing tarot card games and is still produced today. It was probably created in Milan before spreading to much of France, Switzerland and Northern Italy.
