Galway Podiatry Clinic was set up in Galway in April 1988 by Angela Mc Anearney who also worked as a podiatrist part-time for the HSE in Athenry Health Centre from 1988 β 2008. Since 2010 she has worked as a part-time lecturer in NUI Galway's new Podiatrist degree course and is a registered and active member of the Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists of Ireland and consequently treatments are c
overed by all major healthcare insurers. Angela has a deep interest in health education and children's sports and athletics and jogs with Galway's Fit4life at the Westside. Roisin Dooley has been working in Galway Podiatry Clinic since 2016 after graduating with an Honours Degree in Podiatric Medicine from NUI Galway. Her specialisms include; Diabetes foot assessment (vascular and neurological), Diabetic foot ulceration, Lower Limb Acupuncture. Roisin is a very friendly and approachable Podiatrist, whose interests include GAA and farming! Anthony Walsh has been working in Galway Podiatry Clinic on and off since 2015. A real 'people person, Anthony will have you telling your whole life story. His specialisms are Biomechanical assessment, diagnoses of foot structure problems and prescription of orthotic insoles.
