Bealtaine the Beginning of Summer🔥 Info from www.oghamtrees.com ‘The first Bealtaine celebration dates back to mythical times in Ireland. According to myth, the first fire celebration here took place five thousand years ago at the hill of Uisneach, which was at the time considered the centre of Ireland. The ancient druid Midhe was said to have lit the first fire of Bealtaine, and indeed the first fire of Ireland, at this sacred hill. 🌳🌳🌳 The Bealtaine fires became known as the “nine sacred woods of Bealtaine”.
🌲🌲🌲
The nine sacred woods of Bealtaine are identified as birch, rowan, ash, alder, willow, hawthorn, oak, holly, and hazel all in part of the Ogham tree magic cycle.’🌀
