If you are an NTOI member, this online event is a rare opportunity for gaining 6 whole, free of charge CPD points 💃🕺

Engaging with the Industry Day is an annual event that we have run in CNELM for many years. This year, we opened it for the first time for NTOI members.

On the day, we will have 6 separate sessions with the leading Food Supplement companies in the EU/UK.
Each company will deliver a different mini lecture, and we have an exciting list of topics planned 👌

You can sign up (for free!) on the NTOI website.

This lovely, super simple, side dish could not just stay in the story...

It goes really well with white fish 🐟and a big bowl of green salad 🥗

Here is how you assemble it:

👇Bottom layer:
Tahini - I am a huge fan of Al Arz.
It is thinned with water (add gradually) and lemon juice. You can add a little bit of sea salt.

👉Middle layer:
Cooked white beans (I had them warm).
Smashed and mixed with caraway seeds and sea salt.

👆Top layer:
Chopped cherry (or big) tomatoes
Fresh basil
Scallions

Lots of strong and peppery olive oil (mine is from Cortina olives🫒).

Here is a recipe for my go-to bread these days 🍞

It is lower in carbs and higher in protein, which means it works well with a low GI/ GL diet, can help maintain healthy blood sugar levels, and keep you satiated for longer.

It also suits individuals who follow a GF/ DF or a Grain-free diet.

Note- it is not crusty bread. It has a soft and fluffy texture 🙌

It goes really well with soft goat’s cheese or ricotta with plenty of flaky sea salt on top 🧂🧀

Prep time - 5 minutes if you are really slow...
Baking time - 25-35 minutes ⏳️

I have always loved raw fish, but only recently became brave enough to make it myself- and, seriously, it's so easy. All you need is really fresh fish (which is never a big problem in Ireland), and also a top quality olive oil.

This is a beautiful Mediterranean style fish crudo 🐠

* 🐟1 small fillet of King Fish. Skinned and sliced thinly.
*🫒 Peppery extra virgin olive oil. Mine is made from Cortina olives.
*🍅 Tomatoes. Peeled, seeded, and chopped finely.
*🧅 Red onion, chopped finely.
*🌶 A little red chilli.
*🍋 Lemon juice
*🍃 Fresh oregano leaves
Salt & Pepper
