WHO CAN WE TREAT? Anybody. Private patients, medical card and doctor visit card patients, European visitors with EHIC, others visiting Ireland paying privately or via insurance. Those with a medical card or doctor visit card should attend their own doctor but we can treat you in cases of emergency or if you are away from home. Some services are covered by Irish health insurance companies and most policies give you money back on GP visits when you submit receipts. WHEN CAN WE TREAT YOU? We are open Monday to Friday from 8.30am - 5.00pm. Closed for lunch from 1230 to 1400. We offer 15 minute appointments and aim to keep delays to a minimum. 💉 Protect yourself this winter!
The flu vaccine is recommended for everyone, but it’s only free for people at higher risk (like healthcare workers, carers, or those with chronic conditions).
👉 The COVID vaccine is free for all.
Since it takes about 2 weeks to kick in, the best time to get your flu shot is early in the season (Sept/Oct) for full winter protection.

RSV Protection for Babies 💉👶

From 1st September 2025, the HSE will begin offering an immunisation programme to help protect newborn babies from Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV).

👶 Newborns born between 1st September 2025 – February 2026
They will receive the RSV immunisation in all maternity hospitals after birth and before going home. 🏥

🚗 Babies born between 1st March – 31st August 2025
A mobile vaccination service will be available across Cork and Kerry in community clinics.
Appointments will run during September and early October 2025.
