AccessMed Ireland is a group of Irish medical students trying to make entry into medicine more accessible.

It was started in March 2021 by a group of housemates in 3rd year of UCD Medicine who decided to run a free webinar on how to get into Medicine after discussing how ridiculously expensive most preparation courses for Medicine were.

One viral Twitter post later with over 300k impressions, a successful event with over 1300 secondary school students and an ever-growing Instagram - we realised this was just the beginning.

Now with a team of over 40 medical students from all over Ireland, we are committed to continuing our work in making entry into Medicine more accessible so that everyone can say .
