The goal of Nutritional Therapy is to create an individualised healthy eating plan to achieve optimal health.
My goal as a Nutritional Therapist is to help clients use food, and at times supplements,to maintain or regain optimal health. After an initial consultation I will create individualised food plans to help the client to target their personal health issues. I will recommend recipes that have easily accessible ingredients and are relatively easy to create. If I feel food sensitivities may be contributing to the clients problems I can arrange for a Food Intolerance Test. Instead of treating symptoms, Nutritional Therapy looks for the cause of imbalances in a persons life. I like the analogy that "dealing with symptoms only, is like using a bucket to empty an overflowing sink when actually what you need to do is pull that plug!!"
