July is UV Awareness Month ☀️
With the heatwave coming we need to take steps in order to protect ourselves.
Here’s why UV Safety is important:
•Sunburn - Excessive UV exposure can lead to painful sunburns which can increase the risk of skin cancer.

•Skin Cancer- UV radiation is a major risk factor for all types of skin cancer, including melanoma, the most serious form.

• Premature aging- UV damage can accelerate skin aging, causing wrinkles, age spots, and other signs of premature aging.

Hav fever season is upon us 🌸☀️
Here’s some quick tips and tricks to prevent or reduce the symptoms of hay fever !

Knowing the symptoms 🤧
- Sneezing and coughing
- Runny or blocked nose
- Itchy, red watery eyes
- Itchy throat, mouth, nose or ears
- Pain around your temples or forehead
- Headaches
- Earache
- Feeling tired

Hay fever symptoms can last up from 6-8 weeks whereas a cold will only last 1-3 weeks.

Tips and trick for preventing hay fever 💡
•Barrier balm and barrier wipes can help clean off after coming inside and remove any pollen that may have attached itself.
•Vaseline on the nostirls traps pollen and prevents it from getting into the sinus’.
•Washing hands and changing clothes after coming inside will help prevent the reaction from contact from pollen
•Keep an eye on high pollen days if suffering from hay fever these days are best to stay inside as it can make the symptoms worse
•Pet’s can also carry pollen into the house.
•Keep away from freshly cut grass or avoid cutting grass
•Drying clothes outside can trap pollen.
