Hello, my name is Helen Falvey, acupuncturist, and owner of AcuGlow Acupuncture Clinic. My goal with my work is to help as many people as possible live their lives in the best health they can, free of pain, happier, sleeping better, and even preserving their eyesight into the future. I chose acupuncture as a career because it helped me so much when I really needed it when I was younger. I completed my initial acupuncture training over 3 years at The Acupuncture Foundation in Dublin, and have completed many extra training courses in the 5+ years that I have been in business to ensure the best results and care possible for my clients. There are different types of acupuncture available at the clinic. When we find out a little more about you, we select the most appropriate type, or types, of acupuncture for your treatment. Here are the types of acupuncture used daily in the clinic:
Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture
Auricular Acupuncture
Distal Acupuncture(Master Tung)
Electro-acupuncture
Dry needling(trigger points)
Motor Point(neurofunctional) Acupuncture
Ophthalmic Acupuncture(specialist acupuncture for degenerative eye conditions)

We also include cupping therapy and heat lamp in treatments where indicated.

Endometriosis is a whole body inflammatory disease. Endometriosis lesions can occur in any part of the body. If you are experiencing symptoms, please seek diagnosis and treatment.

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month

Endometriosis as a condition has lacked awareness and understanding and people with symptoms often wait many years for diagnosis and treatment.

In Ireland in particular, endometriosis patients are underserved with many needing to go abroad for surgery. There are now efforts to better provide for endometriosis patients. The first national endometriosis framework was launched last year, and this year it has been announced that there will be an awareness programme rolled out across schools, workplaces and sports clubs.
