A ‘Lidl’ initiative for the new facilities in Buck Learys for our local and visiting ladies.

Sending thanks to our local Lidl Ireland for donating vouchers to cover the cost of period products under their period poverty programme. With Deirdre Roche from Glanmire LadiesFootball, we were able to select a variety of products.

Ladies from any local or visiting team using the fantastic new facilities in Buck Learys, can avail of a period product that suits their needs if they don’t have their own. We hope that this small initiative will be of help during training or a match.

This event was a great success, so we are delighted to share with you that Marc will deliver a similar nutrition talk this month, including nutrition for performance and during the menopause. All are welcome ☺️

. 🔆 IRELAND LIGHTS UP 🔆 WALK -> ❗️CANCELLED ❗️

The Glanmire and Sarsfields Healthy Clubs team was hoping to host the last Ireland Lights Up walk this evening. However, from the weather apps, this current heavy rain is due to continue for the evening unfortunately 😣

Having checked 5 weather apps throughout the day, odds are that we won’t have rain this evening during our ILU walk in Glanmire Community College at 6.45pm. If it does rain, we can stop walking straight away. What is certain is that it will be cold so please dress appropriately.
