Everyone is welcome to join our Glanmire Walkers & Talkers team. We walk various routes around Glanmire, and switch within the group so that we can chat with a different person along the way. We also enjoy our ‘sweet spot stop’ 😇

. 🔆 G.O.A.L Mile - We raised €573.50!! 🔆

Well done Glanmire!!! With a combination of members in our community that donated when registering for the Mile, donated via iDonate or used the collection bucket on the morning of the Mile ….. €573.50 was raised. The GOAL team is delighted. Thank you so much to everybody involved, whether you joined the Mile on the 27th or donated from home 👏🎊👏🎊👏

. 🔆 Ireland Lights Up 🔆

Our Ireland Lights Up challenge also starts on Weds, the 7th of Jan. Everyone in our community is welcome to walk some loops around the walking track in Glanmire Community College at 6:30pm for 6 Wednesday evenings. Come to all walks, or as many as suits you. Looking forward to meeting new members of our great community ☺️

The Toy Appeal will be going ahead outside the Credit Union from 1 30 to 2.30. Due to weather warning. Alternatively u can drop toys to Uparty this week or drop off to Ursulas house T45WF62. She will be there after 3pm today.

Unfortunately due to Yellow weather warning from 2pm today we have made the difficult decision to cancel todays event.. the TOY COLLECTION will still go ahead outside the Credit Union from 1 30 to 2..30pm . Due to weather warning.
They will be in 2 cars outside the credit union

Thank you to everyone who attended this excellent talk from Niall McNamee about his gambling journey

We were delighted to have Niall McNamee in Glanmire Community College yesterday evening. Niall told us his incredibly difficult and insightful story about how easily he got sucked into gambling. He also told us about the impact on his family & friends, and how his time in a residential centre for addiction helped him come through to the other side. We could have listened to him all evening. After he answered many questions, Niall headed back home to Offaly and wished us well in our Healthy Clubs journey.
