This course offers a unique opportunity to explore the power of mindfulness, supported by gentle yoga practices. Whether you're new to these practices or looking to expand your knowledge, this course will help you build awareness and reduce stress through simple and effective techniques.
Course Highlights:
• Mindfulness as the Core Practice: Discover how the mind works, learn to cultivate present-moment awareness and explore a sense of calm.

• Yoga to Support Mindfulness: Enjoy gentle yoga movements that help release tension, increase awareness, and promote relaxation.

• Breathing and Meditation Techniques: Develop tools to calm the mind, reduce stress, and increase mental clarity.

• Experiential Learning: Engage in both practical exercises and learning, allowing you to integrate mindfulness/yoga into everyday life.

Join us for a POP UP Yoga & Sauna Session @ Rossbeigh Sauna

Be with Nature as we soak up the outdoors and practice yoga together this Saturday morning! No prior yoga experience is needed - We will explore yoga moving our bodies with care, connecting with ourselves and mother earth and nourishing ourselves deeply.

Followed by a Sauna Session inviting the warmth to soothe our muscles and calm our minds. For an added boost, you can choose to invigorate your body with a cold plunge or a refreshing cold shower.

A great way to spend a Saturday morning :)

A FREE Healthy Holidays event will be held in Killorglin on December 1st from 12 to 3pm. This is part of Safefoods Community Food Initiative which SKDP is delighted to be part of. A healthy cooking demo, First Aid Workshop and Mindfulness workshop will all take place.
Lots of information on healthy food, reducing food waste, budgeting, volunteer opportunities etc All welcome.
