Working with the unconscious is a gift that is never ending in giving, there is always something new, something unfathomable, unexplainable waiting to be loved as is. In my work I hold space for the unbound unconscious (spiritual emergence, psychosis, spiritual crisis, mental health crisis and the curious). The unconscious is not to be feared, it simply asks to be acknowledged and often until we d
o so will spew out through our patterns and self destructive behaviors. The psyche is a self healing mechanism that is constantly attempting to move into wholeness. There can be times where the psyche goes about healing this in a manner that others may see as "crazy" "mad" "mentally ill". However, these limiting words and beliefs are nothing more than shackles placed upon the unconscious, preventing it from moving and returning to wholeness as it so wishes. My work here is to create and hold a loving, safe and limitless space for the untamed unconscious to move. Containing the unconscious with clear boundaries (time, confidentiality, respect for others) in any session gives it freedom and a sense of safety to drop the limits of the rational. This also means that when leaving the space the unconscious doesn't feel so much the need to cause any ruckus because it knows there is a safe place to be expressed. Hence the knock on affect of suddenly making choices that differ from life limiting and destructive beliefs that the unconscious was simply pursuing upon you because it wanted to be acknowledged. I work with multiple disciplines, including Art Therapy, Energy healing, Inner Dance and Earthly Wisdom.
