Don't try and do it all at once, take your time, give yourself praise and credit for all your achievements, no matter how small they may seem to you. Each small achievement adds up and becomes a new lifestyle to a healthier, more vibrant you.

Loving the last of my roses from the garden.
I did a big tidy up yesterday, pruning, moving, potting, dividing and giving away of plants and shrubs.
I spent 4 and a half hours in the garden, it was such a beautiful day, it was great to get the garden sorted and enjoy some of the last warm and sunny weather before the winter sets in.

Getting out in nature is so good for our mental, emotional and physical health - do you enjoy getting outside?
If you don't really enjoy the great outdoors, try even 5 minutes each morning and bring some flowers into your home - it will really help to lift your mood and has been shown to improve healing.

It always starts with a decision. But then you have to follow through on that decision and make any necessary changes. But remember to make small and achievable changes, don't try to do it all at once. Successful people didn't get there overnight, it took time, effort, mistakes, figuring things out and re-committing.

Make a start and be kind to yourself through your journey x

The next time you think of eating chocolate, cake, cookies, skipping your planned exercise class or walk; think about how you will feel afterwards - will you be happy with your decision or disappointed with yourself?

If you are happy, you will go on to make more good choices but if you are disappointed this will lead to feelings of regret and unworthiness. You will think that you are not good enough or unable to achieve your health goals.

In reality, even the fittest and healthiest people have to make daily and even hourly choices to be the fit and healthy people they are, it takes effort, but that effort becomes easier with habit.
