People are always fascinated when I say that I'm working overnight as a postpartum doula. The most asked question is "what do you do all night?"
Well, most nights involve settling babies to sleep & keeping an eye on them overnight, to allow their parents to get a restful nights sleep.
I wash feeding equipment; pumps, bottles etc.
I prepare bottles, if required
I do laundry.
And some nights, some nights I cook!
This particular family needed feeding 😜
Baby slept and I cooked up enough food for the whole week!
If you are due your baby soon, or just had one, please get in touch for more info on night time doula support & how I can help your family find it's new normal
