There’s something special about firsts 🌻

Thursday evening marked Carol’s very first Pilates class as a teacher in the Olive Room – a calm, sunlit space, a fresh beginning, and the start of what we know will be a wonderful journey guiding others through movement and strength.

Pilates is more than just exercise, it’s about building a strong, balanced body from the inside out. With a focus on core strength, posture, flexibility, and mindful movement, it helps improve everyday mobility while reducing stress and preventing injury. Whether you’re just starting out or returning to movement, it meets you exactly where you are.

The Palms Health & Wellbeing Centre in Gorey are currently welcoming a small number of practitioners to join our professional, supportive community.

Founded in 2019, The Palms Health and Wellbeing Centre is a complementary medical and counselling centre offering a calm, ethically grounded environment for practitioners to grow sustainable private practices.
Our multidisciplinary team includes counselling and psychotherapy, life coaching, acupuncture, reflexology, osteopathy, hypnotherapy, herbal medicine, reiki, chiropody, and more. We also host Yoga, Pilates, Meditation, and Holistic workshops in our dedicated Olive Room.

We offer room hire on rolling monthly leases, an established referral culture, and on-site owner support. We are particularly well suited to both established clinicians and early-career practitioners who value professionalism, collaboration, and a nurturing workplace culture.

Classes are 1 hour in length. A hatha yoga style class which includes breathwork, mobility, a range of yoga poses and relaxation to finish the class feeling rested and rejuvenated. 🧘🏼‍♀️
