Oasis Counselling Service Bernie is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. She is also trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM).

Bernie is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, She holds diplomas in Counselling, Theory & Practice. Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy working with survivors of childhood abuse: physical mental, emotional and sexual. She has a wealth of experience working with relationship and marital issues. Bernie's approach to counselling is client centred, empat

hic and non judgemental. Her approach is also eclectic including, CBT, Brief Therapy, Solution Focussed depending on the needs of the client. She believes that counselling enables people to empower themselves to address the challenges they may be facing in their life's journey. Working together
with the client to find ways to address these challenges and explore coping strategies and options that are acceptable to the client.
