We are delighted to announce our Christmas Community Donation Initiative for 2025 - an opportunity to give back to local charities chosen by our dedicated team💜
Throughout December, €1 from every meal purchased in Prom Bar, Alamo Steakhouse and Moorings Restaurant will be donated to Futures In Mind (formerly Talk To Tom) who work in the areas of su***de prevention, mental health awareness and bereavement support. This incredible charity was voted by our team for a second year in a row!

This initiative is part of the Neville Park Hotel Group's commitment to supporting our local communities and will each donate from their own restaurants to their chosen charity.

We look forward to welcoming guests and customers to our restaurants throughout December where you will dine with us knowing that the meal you enjoy is contributing to a meaningful cause🎁

🔷🔷Another successful training🔷🔷

Huge shoutout and massive thanks to everyone who came out to our accredited QPR Su***de Prevention Training in Magherafelt this past Sunday.

We teamed up with Futures in Mind, to provide access to this training and it was such a powerful day.

QPR training is super important because it gives us all the tools to spot the signs that someone is struggling, offers a helping hand, and connects them with the right support.

The more people in our community who are trained, the stronger and more supportive it becomes for everyone. It's is our main aim at ALPS to provide this training to every person that wants it.

We're already looking forward to bringing more QPR trainings back to the Terrace Hotel the future.

Let's keep building a community where everyone feels listened to and supported.

Incredible work from the team at Voices of Gorey choir. This contribution will fund more than 14 hours of counselling for people in our community struggling with their mental health. 👏👏👏

🌟 A huge thank you to Lucca Browning 🌟

On 16 August, Lucca conquered the gruelling Everest Challenge on Ticknock Mountain — repeatedly cycling up the same hill until he had climbed the height of Mount Everest - a staggering 8,848 metres. 🚵‍♂️⛰️

Through sheer determination, he not only achieved this incredible feat of endurance but also raised €1,348 all in aid of Futures In Mind. 💚

This generosity will provide over 19 hours of essential counselling services for people struggling with their mental health. As a volunteer-led organisation, we depend on the kindness of individuals like Lucca, whose efforts bring hope and support where it is needed most.

Lucca, your courage and compassion are truly inspiring — thank you for making such a profound difference. 🙏

Your dedication to recognising signs of crisis, confidently asking tough questions, and providing compassionate support could genuinely save lives. 💚

Research shows that up to 90% of people who die through su***de show warning signs beforehand. Bystander training like this empowers teams to notice and respond effectively.
