Burren College of Complementary Therapy The college will be focusing on the teaching of Complementary Therapies such as Massage, Aromatherapy, and Hot Stone Therapy, Diet and Nutrition.

Burren College of Complementary Therapy is an ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council) registered college and there are courses on offer that will lead the successful candidate to an ITEC Diploma Burren College of Complementary Therapy is an ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council) registered college and there are courses on offer that will lead the successful candidate to an ITEC Diploma. All students who receive ITEC diplomas will be qualifying in a standard of excellence at this Holistic Education Centre. Many students who return to education after a long period of time have concerns regarding their ability to learn and to retain information. The method of teaching in Burren College addresses the concerns, particularly of the mature student returning to education. There is a support network to help students gain confidence in their ability and to make whatever course they decide to do an enjoyable learning experience. Class numbers are kept to a maximum of 10 as this will give trainees individual attention and if needed extra hours (at no extra cost) of one to one tuition to get past any difficulties they may have in a particular area. Burren College's focus is in developing a Holistic Educational Environment that promotes and develops the individual ability of the trainee. The college endeavours to facilitate the learning of the student, whatever their learning style, in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere to achieve the award they desire. All together Burren College in Gort is fast becoming a centre for Holistic Education.

Starting a Reboot here. Some might notice that I did not run any courses last autumn. I guess I needed a little reboot to refresh and revive! But, January always brings lots of new thinking, new creative ideas and new approaches.
Starting with the Art of Massage-
