Poetry & picture comes to me in the deep winter warmth... let me share my Solstice contemplations with you:
A whole new way of communicating has been opening up for me. My father's passing earlier this summer had me in a whole new space and it has enriched me. I like the heart-to-heart connection that we had and months before he passed I said to him that now we connect soul-to-soul and that is how it has been ever since.
As I deepen into the winter mode of stillness with plenty of walks, carrying water & wood, I'm gaining insights about how each generation and each person carries stuff like trauma from previous generations and beyond. And I'm grateful to have found how to clear this and to live with death.
Dear friends have passed over in recent years, young friends passing over before one might expect Valerie, Kevin, Jude, Saskia, Andrew and recently two pioneering men from our local Homeschooling and Arts community have departed physical life on earth dear Liam McNulty and Mike Doherty. One recalls the gifts that they all so joyously shared - each one outstanding and all mentioned were actually bringers of a new earth, bridging the systems returning us to our true home on earth. They all followed their hearts with passion.
My wish is that while alive in our blessed bodies, we all get to share our passions and joys in the fullest way from the highest potential. For this is our unique essence, our soul song heard in a giggle, a laugh, a cry and seen through pure eyes that allow the real through.
So may your Solstice holidays allow for you to connect deeply with our own true soul self and may we all get to hear and see you being your true self - while walking through a field, standing at a crosswalk or chatting with each other. I'll be being still by the fireside, welcoming family to meals and games & singing and seeing what newness arises.
