With that humdinger of an eclipse portal behind us we wake today to a new lunar phase and greet a significant turning point of the year ~ a day of equal light & darkness ☯️

The season of allowing things to fall away slowly & beautifully is in the air. Tonight we gather around the campfire with Mari to celebrate Autumn 🍂 Equinox ~ what are we composting.. what are we harvesting?

The Haw berries are harvesting in Brandy & my carefully chosen fairy tree for the last Celtic year will bring her 6 week percolating potion to its heart healing readiness on Samhain. Now that’s magical 🪄timing!

Have you noticed how dark some of the falling leaves are?? 💚

A Golden Thread is a phrase I heard in session with the gentle & wise which refers to a series of universal nudges which gather momentum, leading us to our highest good.

These 🪡’s are an intuitive sense to trust your body/mind/heart/gut/soul prompts whether they appear random or mysterious.

Perhaps this New Moon half day retreat feels like a universal nudge along your Golden Thread…. 🪡

We will be weaving the following threads throughout the morning… as always…everything is invitational;

⭕️ A ‘Way of the Council’ Circle
Ceremonial Cacao/Hawthorn Tea
Guided Meditation
Facial Reflexology /Reiki
Mindful Garden and/or Forest Walk (weather permitting!)

⭕️A Way of the Council circle is an age-old practice bringing people together in a circle to bear witness and share authentically. Through gentle visual & audible prompts, we pass a talking piece & Participants share their personal stories & experiences, and listen non-judgmentally while others do the same ~ Or very welcome to choose not to share 💚
Sharing and/or listening to universal stories about love, loss, fear, triumph, challenge, hope and other experiences enables participants to recognize that, despite our many differences, we have much in common.

A sincere thank you to the maiden voyagers on our Solstice ☀️ Gathering 🚎 in Greystones at the weekend.

Who’d have thought we’d be mid heatwave in Ireland on a stationary bus….however…the weather goddesses and elements provided for us and we had a wonderful morning of connection. We sipped heart opening cacao, meditated and had the stillest of seas ebbing and flowing at the shore for our mindful movement practice.

A heartfull and heartfelt thank you. I will be hosting similar style small gatherings, private groups and one2ones for anybody interested…. I’d love to hear from you.

These power structures live within each of us.
They are not just ‘out there’.
And we EACH have a DIFFERENT role to play moment to moment.

The medicine, the antidote is to
Choose in every moment to
INHABIT THE FEMININE IN THE RESISTANCE

🔥Take a stand without getting rigid

🔥Own your anger, express your rage without annihilating, shaming and blaming

🔥Speak truth to power without othering

🔥Take action without loosing your humanity

🔥Show up full without loosing connection to your body and your depts

This is what will heal the split between the feminine and masculine that has us in this hell.

🌊✨ Join us for a memorable Summer Solstice Cacao Ceremony close by the sea in Greystones

🚎Arrival:
Once we have landed, we’ll take a short walk to ground with the ebb and flow of the Sea with some gentle Qi Gong inspired movements before transitioning back to the Bus for Cacao.

🚎 Cacao & Meditation:
Led by me, a certified Meditation instructor & Circle Facilitator. We will sip our heart opening Cacao & gently dive a little deeper with a meditation guided with great care & heart led invitational intention & attention. I will also offer hands on energy work allowing for an even deeper connection to self 💚

At our Mindfulness class yesterday one of our group participants intention was for ‘stillness’. A word that had come up as I prepared the class on Sunday evening.
The word stillness is my preferred word rather than ‘relaxation’ which a very loaded word & so often used, overused in classes/therapy.

An intention or invitation to ‘relax’ can set a person up to strive for a particular state of being which can lead to frustration & self judgement if they can’t achieve that ‘goal’.

Mindfulness and meditation practices are periods of time we carve out of our day alone or with others where we gently and kindly bring awareness to the present moment. And the next moment. We discover moments of stillness of the mind, sometimes micro moments…and the magic 🪄of mindfulness is when we are aware that our mind has wandered and we gently bring ourselves back to the present moment.

Yes…..and…

My wise teacher Mari Kennedy introduced me to the subtle power of the phrase ‘Yes…and..’

Working with polarities ♾️ can be so useful when working with our emotions. There isn’t always an ideal balance, it’s more of a dance between both, neither one more important than the other.

For instance; ‘Yes’ I’m feeling sad about something ‘and’ I’m enjoying my cacao here in the morning sun. If I find myself shifting too far towards one ♾️ I bring myself back to the ‘and’. ‘Yes’ there is horrendous destruction going on in parts of the World ‘and’ I can sense into the joy of the funny text my Son just sent. Both experiences co-existing yet as best I can swaying between both ♾️.

In our day to day relationships, the ‘and’ becomes a very worthwhile tool. ‘Yes’ I’m upset by your comment ‘and’ I care deeply for you. We humans will often agree on many things ‘and’ view situations very differently.

Buddhists refer to it as ‘mutually arising’ ~ nothing exists in isolation, it is a dynamic interplay of opposites. Light/Dark Pleasure/Pain Night/Day etc

Embracing the possibility of ‘and’ may pleasantly surprise you!

A reflective pause between stillness and beginning again.

Like the pause between a loving inhale and a softening exhale.
