Yesterday I was lucky enough to experience the most beautiful personal sound bath from . I love sound baths but have never been lucky enough to experience this one on one. Elke was so responsive to my individual needs and during the treatment she lay instruments and tuning forks on the body - very powerful. Not only did I feel a lot more calm and centred after the treatment, I also slept like a baby last night. Elke offers this in the same clinic space that I work in in Greystones - she is around on a Sunday and I would highly recommend her - www.resonateireland.ie

While acupuncture can’t be completely environmentally friendly (all needles are used once and disposed of in medical waste), I try to do the best I can.
I was delighted to receive my delivery of Acufast Earth Friendly Needles which have recyclable packaging, use a more earth friendly metal handle and use a more environmentally friendly method of sterlization. Acufast also plants a tree for every two boxes of needles used - great to know 😊🌳

Have you noticed the round marks on the swimmers this Olympics? I believe it was Michael Phelps who first sported this look in the 2016 Olympics. The round marks are as a result of Cupping - a method in Chinese Medicine which draws blood to the muscles to promote healing and recovery. I regularly use cupping in my practice, not just for muscular recovery / injury but also for general well being and other conditions. Acupuncture treatments aren’t only about the needles, there are lots of different methods that can be used to enhance treatment.
