Focus: Gentle, beginner and senior friendly practice. Kind yoga 🧘
Our sessions feature foundational poses designed to be accessible for seniors and newcomers. A popular and adaptable pose we teach is a gentle, full-body stretch that:
✅Targets shoulders, hamstrings, calves, and wrists
✅Encourages length in the arms and legs
✅Supports digestion and bone health
✅Aids in stress relief and mental calm
This sequence is chosen for its safety and ease of modification, making it suitable for first-timers. I emphasise breath awareness, posture alignment, and gradual progression.
Adaptations and safety
I demonstrate ways to modify poses with props such as a chair, ensuring participants can practice with confidence and comfort. Those who are able can explore the classic ground version as they gain balance and strength.
If you’re new to yoga or returning after a break, this class offers a welcoming, low-pressure environment to start or restart your practice. I would love to see you there—bring a mat, comfortable clothing, and a willingness to learn. Or mats provided instudio. All classes are also available online anywhere in the world and suitable for both female and male.
