We are proud to be involved once again with Equine Collaboration for Health and Outreach (ECHO) and our latest interactive equine health event

ECHO was launched to support and educate horse owners, carers, and professionals on sustainable equine health protection. This collaborative initiative brings together veterinary professionals, educators, and researchers from Cafre Enniskillen Campus, the Irish Equine Centre, Irish National Stud, Teagasc, University of Limerick and UCD Veterinary Medicine.
Join us for an interactive, practical event exploring how nutrition, gut health, and feeding practices directly impact your horse or pony’s health, behaviour, and performance.

What we’ll explore:
⭐ Practical Nutrition – how to formulate the right diet for your horse or pony
⭐ What Makes a Happy Gut – the vital role gut bacteria play in health and performance
⭐ Feeding & Behaviour – understanding the link between diet and stable vices

With practical demonstrations, diet analysis tools, and expert-led guidance, this event will help you make informed feeding decisions to support long-term equine wellbeing.

📍 Location: Clonshire Equestrian Centre, Adare, Co. Limerick V94 HF80

The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine have implemented a new soil testing requirement that obliges farmers to identify the specific land parcel from which the soil sample originated.

In conjunction with the 5th Nitrates Action Programme under SI No.42 2025, All soils must state the corresponding georeference (GPS) co-ordinates represented by the soil sample.

Geo-referencing soil samples is important as it helps farmers identify location-specific nutrient needs, ensuring they can access and apply the right fertilisers where they are needed most.
