Foundations of Excellence: Essential Training for Early Career Occupational Therapists in Children’s Services

We have talked about running this course for the past number of years .. the course we wished we had access to when we qualified many moons ago !!

The early stages of a career as an Occupational Therapist in children’s services is a time of significant learning and development. However, it is also a time of great challenges. Navigating these challenges, especially when facing limited resources and high pressures, can indeed be daunting.
There are so many areas of learning, including assessments, clinical reasoning, models of practice, frames of reference, outcome measures, report writing, school and home support plans and more !

This is a two day in person course on 24 th and 25 th September 2024. It’s is the essential OT toolkit covering all areas of practice to support early career OT’s.
