A massive thank you to Davy, George, and Mickey for lending their support to Support4Shane with a whopping €1,026.20 collected at the 2024 Cico Sports All-Stars Team of the Year Awards Night in The Blackwater Inn.

We are not only thankful for the donation, but for the time the We Are Meath boys have put into highlighting Shane's story over the past six months.

To George, Patricia and the Plunkett family - thank you for your continued support and goodwill.

We were delighted to present a cheque to the Support4Shane Fundraiser for €1,026.20 following our 2024 Cico Sports All-Stars Team of the Year Awards Night in the Blackwater Inn.

Davy and Mickey, alongside George Plunkett presented the cheque to David McManus representing Support4Shane. Our thanks to everyone who supported on the evening!

Winners All Round!

An absolutely fantastic night in The Blackwater Inn for the Cico Sports We Are Meath Awards

Support4Shane was delighted to be this year's nominated good cause with the attendees raising a total of €1,026.20 on the night to help Shane on his road to recovery.

Congratulations to all the winners on the night. Special mention to Player of the Year Gary Breslin and the Meath Hill GFC faithful for bringing the noise to an amazing night of fun and football.

The Cico Sports Team of the Year All-Star Nominees have been revealed. Our Awards Night takes place on Saturday Week, November 9th in the Blackwater Inn from 8.30pm.

All 45 Nominees will receive three drink tokens with thanks to Patricia and George Plunkett of the Blackwater Inn. The selected XV will receive the special All-Stars jersey designed by Cico Sports.

The event is completely free but we would ask you to support our Charity Partner on the night with the collection buckets.

Congratulations to all of our Nominees, we look forward to welcoming the lads, their clubmates, friends and family on the evening!

Shane Is Finally At Home!

We all dreamt of this day, and after 22 gruelling weeks, Shane has walked back into his family home in Kells.

The plan from here is to make Shane as comfortable as possible with the help of daily nurse visits to take care of wounds. Shane will visit his team at The Mater on a weekly basis going forward. There will be months of physio and OT ahead, but, this all signals to Shane making as full a recovery as possible.

The Campbell family are back together again! They are wrecked from the ordeal, but are so thankful for all the support from the community. For now it's time for Shane to rest up and continue on his road to recovery.

Thanks to all who have supported in any way. Without your support, this day would not have been possible.

We are eternally grateful on this momentous day. ❤️

After a hectic four days of action we will leave it there with this photo and words courtesy of Drumbaragh GFC.
'A touching moment as Shane Campbell paid a visit to the Drumbaragh dressing room as the team took to the field. Shane was given a few hours out of treatment from The Mater Hospital to watch his beloved Drums. Shane has a long way to go but he gave it his all to make the game.
A highly emotional moment for all in the room, as manager Davy Cahill spoke about how Shane embodied the team's spirit, fight and strength in the face of adversity. The words rousted the boys on to a dominant victory over Blackhall Gaels in last night's IFC Relegation Semi-Final'

Drive4Shane A Massive Success!

Thank you so much for all who took part in Drive4Shane yesterday. A super event ran by a super bunch of people!

A fantastic day was followed by a fantastic night with fun and a few beers to wrap things off!

So many people to thank, so with the fear of leaving anyone out, I will keep it simple - thank you.

There's wingmen and then there's Wesley Smith level wingmen!

Shane Campbell got an almighty surprise when his best bud Wesley Smith stormed into The Mater Hospital to give him one of his trademark bear hugs!

A very special moment in Shane's journey. Also it's the first image of Shane since his accident we've shared online. Shane is looking healthier and stronger each day and no doubt Wes' visit has brought him on even more.

Truly heartwarming stuff.
