Every breath you take, every heartbeat, every healing response - it’s all directed by your nervous system. ✨ It’s the guide that keeps everything connected and flowing.

When it’s balanced, you adapt better.

You recover faster.

You function the way you were created to.

When stress starts to pile up - from daily demands, processed foods, sleepless nights, or emotional overwhelm - it can interrupt the way your nervous system communicates. 😬 When that communication breaks down, the body responds the only way it can: brain fog, tension, anxiety, fatigue, poor immunity, low mood, and disconnection.

The goal of chiropractic care is to restore connection. ⚡️ Clearing interference in the nervous system allows the body to get back to doing what it’s already brilliantly designed to do.

From babies to busy parents - every adjustment is about honoring the body’s intelligence and helping it function at its highest potential. 💪🏻

Let’s help you and your family reconnect, realign, and regulate…from the inside out! 😃

This lady is a force! Soooo well deserved 🙌 Go McTimoney!! 🎊

Principal Honoured! Our Principal, Professor Christina Cunliffe, has been awarded an OBE in the Kings Birthday Honours list announced today in the London Gazette.

This award is in recognition of her outstanding services to healthcare education, with a 25 year focus on developing chiropractic education in the UK and abroad. She has led the McTimoney College of Chiropractic since 1998, transforming it from a single site institution into a global entity with campuses in Oxfordshire, Manchester, Madrid, Hong Kong and soon to be Northern Ireland. Under her leadership, the McTimoney College has become a beacon for quality education through innovative programmes that train chiropractors for both people and animals, emphasising access to education for working adults.

As well as her Fellowships of both the Royal College of Chiropractors and the Royal Society of Biology, she holds a PhD from the University of Manchester together with being awarded a personal Chair in Chiropractic by the University of Wales in 2010. She was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Healthcare Leadership by BPP University in 2021. She served on the General Chiropractic Council, its Education Committee and Investigating Committee, and as Treasurer of the Royal College of Chiropractors, and has been involved in the development of the profession for many years.

Professor Cunliffe's OBE is a testament to her unwavering dedication to advancing healthcare education and has significant impact on the chiropractic profession.

Just saw this and it was so well written that I didn't need to write something myself for a change...Kudos to Brain Dooley.

He died on this day in 1961. Quietly, as men of great noise sometimes do. His name was Bartlett Joshua Palmer. B.J. if you knew the work. The Developer of Chiropractic. The one who took his father’s wild seed and planted an orchard.

He was not easy. Giants rarely are. He clashed and carved and coaxed the world to see what he saw—a principle, a purpose, a profession. He built a school, he built a radio station, he built a legacy. He spoke in riddles and roared in print. He walked fast and thought faster.

Some say he was mad. Some say he was messianic. Most forget how much of their practice still bears his fingerprints.

Today, many have never heard of him. And some who have, don’t remember right.

But if you’ve ever turned your headpiece to the atlas and listened for the quiet wind of innate, you owe something to the man who insisted there was more to healing than the surface of things.

So here’s to B.J. Palmer.
A chiropractor, yes.
But more than that—
A stubborn voice in the wilderness who kept shouting long enough for the rest of us to hear.

We carry on.

When a crow feels sick… it visits an anthill.
Sounds strange? It’s actually one of nature’s most fascinating healing rituals.
When a crow senses it’s unwell, it will intentionally find an anthill, spread its wings wide, and remain completely still—waiting for the ants to crawl into its feathers.
Why?
Because ants release formic acid—a natural antiseptic that kills bacteria, fungi, and parasites hiding in the bird’s feathers.
This behavior is called “anting”, and it’s been observed not just in crows, but in many bird species.
No medicine.
No vet.
Just pure instinct and nature’s built-in pharmacy.
A brilliant reminder that the natural world is full of intelligent, self-healing systems…
We just need to stop and notice.
