We’re going to start naming and shaming so called “one man bands” carrying out bad stairlift installations.

We’re tired of seeing people who have mere days of training installing lifts that are dangerous to the customer.

We’re in the middle of building a brand new website and will start listing the competitors that cause us issues first and work our way from there.

Watch this space, new website coming soon, so the public and manufacturers alike can see any dangerous or bad installations that have been carried out.

Due to the sh*tshow of a storm tomorrow, offices will be closed and all staff are grounded.

We’re not insured for travelling in this type of weather and don’t fancy picking our staff out of trees if they get blown away! 😂

Get in touch if you need advice on disconnecting your stairlift in the event power is gone for an extended period of time! Remember warranties don’t cover dead or damaged batteries!

Bit of a gimmick but was fun either way!

IMPORTANT:

As of 22/11/2024 due to availability and reliability on our side, we will be permanently stopping all mobility repair services for scooters and wheelchairs.

We’re focusing as a “stairlift only” company and maybe revisit repairs as a separate company in the future.

Unfortunately we aren’t able to turn these repairs around as quick as we like and end up getting ourselves a bad name due to this. We want to focus on what we can actually deliver in terms of reliability and quality of service.

You’ll see in the coming weeks our website will be updated to reflect above.

Modern Mobility Ltd (www.modernmobility.ie) based in Kilcullen are looking to hire a full time employee to take on the role of customer service and operational end of the business.

The role varies from general customer service for customers calling us, to organising and listing jobs with engineers and customers.

The role is essentially an “all rounder” type office job supporting our staff and representing our company by taking all incoming calls.

This role will include plenty of training and the salary will be reviewed after 6 months.

The ideal candidate must be self motivating and able to work in a high pressure environment, have experience and generally have good people skills.
