A lovely afternoon celebrating International Women’s Day as we welcomed Mayoress Carmel Kelly to the nursing home. Carmel spoke about her role in the County Council and the honour of representing the people of Kildare as their Mayor.
We were delighted to be joined by members of Sonas & Siamsa, some of our volunteers, Helen O Leary from the Moat writers
for a lovely afternoon tea. A special celebration of the wonderful women in our community and the contributions they make every day. 🌸

Today we enjoyed a wonderful Chinese New Year celebration at the nursing home. Le and her son Desmond from Fate Chinese Restaurant gave a fascinating talk on the traditions of Chinese New Year and treated our residents and staff to delicious food.
A huge thank you to Le for such a memorable afternoon 🧧✨ #

So thankful to local business owner of Fate Chinese restaurant Li who is visiting us with some delicious samples of Chinese food, chatting about the traditions around Chinese new year it's going to be so good we are all super excited 🐉🈲️㊗️🇨🇳👲🈹️
