While we enjoy the good weather please remember to keep your dogs safe by walking them early in the morning or later in the evening. It is essential to avoid bringing them out in the heat of the day as the pads on their paws can get burnt very easily. Providing a wet towel for them to lie on can help to keep them cool and never leave them in cars - even with the windows open - they wil overheat and will be at risk for heat stroke.

Due to the warnings in place in advance of Storm Eowyn tonight and tomorrow we have taken the decision to close Kokoro Clinic on the 24th January. All scheduled clients will be notified and their appointments rescheduled as soon as possible.

I hope everyone and their canine buddies are keeping warm during this cold snap. In case you were wondering whether it is safe to bring your dog out for a walk or exercise this may be of some help. Always remember to wash and dry your pets paws after being out as particles such as salt or grit can get trapped in their paws causing discomfort.
