Anna offers group and individual Dramatherapy sessions and workshops, alone or with other Dramatherapists in a wide variety of Dramatherapy based topics.

Anna offers affordable Dramatherapy sessions for adults and children. She offers a free introductory session. Anna has a high proficiency in Irish Sign Language (ISL) and so can offer Dramatherapy to members of the Deaf Community.

We are delighted to be back with our first bereavement workshop of the year on the 21st of February in Leixlip Parish Centre.

We are looking forward to again meeting the brave and beautiful children that will be returning to the group after joining us for our Christmas workshop last year. However, we have one space still available in our 5 to 7 year olds group and a few spaces in our 8 to 10 year olds group if anyone would like to join us.

The 5 to 7 age group will be from 11am to 1pm, and the 8 to 10 year olds group will be from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday 21st of February.

Following another meaningful Autumn workshop, we recognise the importance of peer support, particularly in the lead up to Christmas.

We are offering space to those brave and beautiful children and young teens who are grieving the loss of a very special loved one this Christmas to come join us for our final Grieving Together of 2025🎄

We have 2 groups this time. One is for 5 to 8 year olds. We are also facilitating a new age group this time for 9 to 12 year olds.

Due to demand we have changed the age groups for the following groups. The morning group for 5 to 7 year olds will be held from 11am to 1pm, this group is currently full, however we will have a waiting list for spaces for this group, or for those interested in joining us the next time.

However, we do have 2 spaces remaining in our afternoon group for 8 to 10 year olds which will be held from 2pm to 4pm...

This will be another opportunity for children and teens to share a space where they can work through grief and loss together, while also leaving space for creativity and fun.

One workshop will be for 5 to 8-year-olds and will be from 11 am to 1 pm, and we are offering a workshop for a new age group this time around for 13 to 15-year-olds from 2 pm to 4 pm.

As part of Grieving Together, a creative arts therapy workshop for children who have been bereaved, we have decided to facilitate a much needed online space specifically for parents who are supporting young children and who themselves are grieving the loss of a loved one ❤️‍🩹 Our aim is to bring parents together, hold space for sharing, support one another through the challenges of parenthood while grieving, learn from one another, listen to one another, ask questions and learn new ways of supporting their children through their grief. Feel free to share with anyone you feel may benefit from the space. We purposefully made it virtual so that we could reach more parents, and so, while there is a limit to it’s capacity, we can reach as many families as possible ❤️

This is a series of sessions. You are welcome to attend just one of the sessions, or two, or all three.

We are excited beyond words to announce our very first in-person workshop for children who have been bereaved. 🧡

Today is the first day of Samhain, and following last nights Celtic festivities, we continue to embrace the traditions; honouring and remembering our loved ones in the month of November.

Can you spot the reference to one of our favourite films, which also acknowledges our loved ones this month? 💀🎶

November also marks the count down to Bereaved Children Awareness Week, which takes place at the end of the month. As therapists who work with children, BCAW is particularly close to our hearts as it is a week that highlights children’s grief specifically.

Children don’t naturally express their grief through words. They express their grief through play and creative expression.

As creative arts therapists, Myself and Joanne will hold space for the art, music, and story telling, of children who have been bereaved. These expressions may be verbal or non-verbal. Most importantly, we will listen.

We called the workshop Grieving Together because that’s exactly what we will be doing. We will be coming together, acknowledging and honouring each other’s grief no matter what stage, and reminding one another that despite the lonesome feeling that comes with grief, we are, in fact, not alone. 🧡

After a lovely two week break, I will be back to sessions from next Monday, the 7th of October. This new friend has come all the way from Spain to join me in my Dramatherapy work. I am looking forward to having lots of great sessions with her. I will have lots of new things coming in my practice over the next few weeks, so keep your eyes on this page.
