International Women’s Day 2026
📍 ACDAL Community Centre, Allenwood
📅 Monday 9th March 2026
Join us for a special International Women’s Day Community Event celebrating women from all walks of life.

Hosted by Tara Thompson of The Quest Yoga, with guest facilitator Lisa Price, Choir Director and Vocal Coach, this uplifting gathering brings women together through connection, movement, and music.

This inclusive and welcoming event is open to women of all ages, cultures, abilities, and backgrounds. It’s an opportunity to connect, reflect, and celebrate the strength and diversity of women in our community.

Through singing and music, participants will reconnect with themselves, boost feel-good endorphins, and experience a shared sense of harmony and connection.

Kildare Sports Partnership and The Quest Yoga proudly present Rise, a yoga event in honour of International Women’s Day. 🌸

Join us to celebrate this special day with a local community event in Kildare.

We’ll be running two sessions:
Sunday 8th March 2026
Balanced Bodies Holistic Centre- Newbridge
11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

This two-hour wellness event includes trauma-informed yoga, suitable for all levels, followed by a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra guided meditation.

Yesterday I spent the day at Festival Mná in Westmeath a women-only festival — and it was my first year teaching at the event.

What a privilege and an honour it was to be part of an incredible group of women and fellow facilitators, holding space for over a thousand Irish women.

A day filled with nourishing food, meaningful connection, beautiful shopping, and the opportunity to teach what I love.
I’m so deeply grateful to Lorraine and Siobhán, the founders and organisers of Festival Mná, for creating something so special. The culture they’ve cultivated — one of collaboration, connection, and support rather than competition — is something truly rare, and it was a joy to be part of.
Thank you to everyone who shared the day, the energy, and the presence.

A day I’ll be carrying with me for a long time. 🤍✨

If you’re looking for a gentle way to rest and reset during this in-between time of year, Soul Sunday is a two-hour experience of deep relaxation, including Yoga Nidra (sleep yoga — no movement required) followed by a soothing sound bath with Cliona Cosgrove
