Research from the UK but I would imagine similar here. Great little read 📚

New research has revealed the cost of the UK’s fast food habit – with 60% of people spending up to £50 a week on takeaways and convenience food.

Our survey of 2,000 UK adults showed that 47% of people believe they’d save a significant amount of money by cutting back – yet one in five people don’t feel confident in cooking from scratch 💔. Those that do cook at home report huge benefits though – with 46% saving money and 40% feeling healthier 🤗.

When it comes to Slimming World members, 88% reported spending up to £100 a week on takeaways before they joined. Since joining, the story is totally different with 39% of respondents saying they’ve cut out takeaways completely… by opting for healthy fakeaways instead, they’re saving a potential £5,000 a year 🤯.

Down almost 2 stone, fitter and healthier and a smile that grows every week! A magical holiday to Vietnam, Christmas, Easter and a whole heap of other obstacles to overcome.... (working in a restaurant!!!) And still Lina shows up for herself every week!
