Hi All! We just wanted to let everyone know about an online update on covid 19 and other current conditions for anyone who would like to have information.

There will be two excellent presenters who will be sharing their expertise and answering your questions.

• Dr. Eimear Brannigan (National Clinical Lead in the AMRIC (Antimicrobial Resistance and Infection Control))

• Professor George Mellotte (National Clinical Lead for Renal Services & Consultant Nephrologist to St James’s Hospital and to Tallaght University Hospital)

In this way, the speakers can receive the questions in advance and have more detailed answers for you. Unfortunately individual questions about your own medical situation cannot be answered in a public session.

We would like to inform everyone that as a mark of respect to Arlene Carrigan (former IKA Kilkenny Branch Secretary), her husband Seamus (former IKA Board member) and family on the very sad passing of her mother Teresa Ryan RIP, Christmas Lunch due to be held this Sunday 4.12.22 at the Orchard House, New Orchard Road, Kilkenny has been postponed to a later date.
