‼️Trigger warning: childhood sexual abuse‼️

How many times does Ireland have to relive the same institutional patterns before people stop pretending public anger is irrational?

The country has changed. The public has changed. But too many systems still sound like they’re operating from a very different Ireland.

It’s so interesting to read back on some of my notes from this period of my life
I was always “spiritual” but this time period really kicked things off for me.. I moved to south Tipperary and literally excavated everything for the following years
It was super lonely at times.. my first housemate was from Galway and went home every weekend, leaving me alone where I began to pick apart EVERYTHING
Every person I met at that time was a mirror and what was being reflected back to me was showing me where I needed to reflect and dive deeper into.. ah, this was truly the hard work
I’m a firm believer that God/the Universe/whatever you call it will use your wounding for your highest good
And mine was used to keep me down in Tipperary where the real work could be done
I’ve always said south Tipperary makes me feel at home in a way I can’t explain - maybe it’s because I came home to myself there ❤️ and I wouldn’t change a single thing because it’s got me to right now
Phewwww 🤣 a small snippet into a tiny chapter of my life

Private 1:1 Kundalini activation sessions are returning next week.

Working intuitively with your nervous system and energy body, each session is tailored in real time, allowing your system to unwind, recalibrate, and shift into a more precise, regulated state.

There is nothing to force.
No expectation to perform.

Just space, held intentionally, for you to step out of the external and into a deeper, more powerful internal experience.

✨ This work can support:

– a full-system reset and release of built-up tension
– sharper clarity and more grounded decision-making
– a heightened sense of awareness and presence
– deeper access to intuition and internal guidance
– sustained states of calm, focus, and control

This is private work, for those who value depth, discretion, and a more elevated level of support.

✨ Limited 1:1 spaces beginning again from May
📍 Aluna Yoga, Kildare Town

We talk about the risks of our young people using social media - adults openly sharing their trauma online is one of them

23/04/2026

We need to talk about what influencers are actually posting right now.

Because it’s not just “being real” anymore …
It’s detailed trauma, past addiction stories, disclosures of abuse, and the deepest parts of people’s lives being shared to build trust, grow audiences, and hold attention.

As someone trained in receiving disclosures of abuse through years in residential care, I can’t ignore what that actually is.
That level of sharing was never meant to be uncontained, broadcast to strangers mid-scroll, or consumed like content.

In care settings, there are frameworks for a reason …containment, responsibility, aftercare.

That’s completely absent online.

And we also need to be honest about the psychology: vulnerability builds rapid trust at scale. It creates intimacy with audiences. It increases loyalty. And online, it gets rewarded.

Which means vulnerability starts to function as currency.

Not because people are “fake” but because the system rewards escalation. More detail. More depth. More exposure.

We already recognise the impact of other online content on young people. We should be asking the same questions here.

Because constant exposure to uncontained trauma is shaping how people understand healing and I don’t think we’ve fully reckoned with that yet.

I saw a video today implying that things like drinking, smoking, or partying aren’t “aligned” or “spiritual enough.”

And it really highlighted something for me.

A lot of healing content still centres around the idea that to be healed, you have to remove yourself from normal life.

But my experience has been the opposite.

My healing didn’t come from creating perfect conditions.

It came from learning how to stay connected to myself within imperfect ones.

I live in the Western world.

I live in Ireland.

I have a life, relationships, friendships, social environments.

And for me, it feels important to have one foot firmly rooted in that.

Not rejecting it.

Not pretending I exist outside of it.

But actually meeting myself here.

Because this is the life I’m in.

This is the timeline I’m in.

And I don’t believe I’m here to bypass that or rise above it in a way that disconnects me from being human.

Some of what’s called “alignment” would actually require me to opt out of my own life.

And that’s not healing to me.

I also think we can lean too far into needing everything to mean something.

Like yes … OF COURSE awareness matters.

Patterns matter.

There can ABSOLUTELY be deeper layers to our behaviours.

But sometimes… we overanalyse.

Sometimes we turn everything into a story, a wound, a projection.

Sometimes a cigarette isn’t a sign you’re “pushing people away.”

Sometimes a drink isn’t a sign you’re disconnected from yourself.

Sometimes it’s just a moment.

A choice.

A very human experience.

My work has been integrating my healing into real life… not building a version of life that only works if everything is controlled, clean, or “optimal.”

For me, it’s never been about being “good” or “pure” enough to qualify as healed.

It’s about:
being aware
being resourced
and not abandoning myself in the moments that aren’t ideal

That’s the difference I care about.

Not performance.

Not perfection.

Just staying with myself in real life.

Not all healing is meant to feel the same.

Some paths shake you awake.

Some hold you while you soften.

And some ask you to move between both.

There were times I thought I needed to push harder…
when what I actually needed was to feel safe enough to let go.

And other times, I stayed in comfort
long after my soul was asking me to rise.

Kundalini and Rahanni meet you in completely different ways…
but neither is “better.”

They simply speak to different moments of your journey.

One activates what’s been sleeping.

One soothes what’s been overwhelmed.

The real question isn’t which is more powerful…
it’s what your body is asking for right now.

Are you being called forward…
or held gently where you are?
