What a busy and festive week it’s been! Congratulations to Anna, Dessie, Damien and Martin on receiving certificates for a course they were attending with ETB. A day trip to Galway to soak up the Christmas market atmosphere, Christmas Jumper Day for Down Syndrome Ireland, and a fantastic Mac Fleetwood concert in Dolans. Plenty of time spent in the kitchen baking Christmas treats, enjoying arts and crafts, and a beautiful candlelit evening concert at St Mary’s Cathedral. Add in horse riding and a Christmas social party filled with fun and dancing . what a great week! 🎄

We’ve had another busy and exciting week!
We proudly opened the doors to our new day service with Ailis’s Coffee Morning. A huge thank-you to everyone who got involved and donated. Ailis, we are all incredibly proud of you you went above and beyond for ASIAM, raising much-needed funds for a fantastic cause.
We also celebrated Ross, who presented his cheque to the Wheelchair Association of Ireland. What an achievement! Well done, Ross your hard work and dedication in organising this fundraiser will make a meaningful difference.
Meanwhile, the festivities are in full swing! From an ABBA concert in UL, to getting out and about for chats, walks, and refreshments, there’s been no shortage of fun. And of course, the Christmas jumpers are out in all their glory.
Here’s to another great week ahead! 🎄✨

We’ve had a very busy and festive week!
We’ve been preparing for our annual Christmas stall at the farmers market in Killaloe this Sunday, be sure to pop by and say hello!
Ailis has also been hard at work putting up posters for her coffee morning in support of ASIAm this Friday. We’ll share more details during the week.
Our days were filled with a weekly shop in Aldi, plenty of laughs at Fiona’s fitness class, horticulture activities, and getting out and about to enjoy all the beautiful festive decorations.
We also kept busy at work in thinking toys, creating art, making pizza, tennis with Wesley and taking a moment to remember the legend Shane MacGowan. Have a great weekend!

A very happy birthday to Dessie! Hope you enjoyed the apple tart.
It’s full steam ahead now as we prepare for the Christmas markets.
We got out for a refreshing walk in O’Briens Bridge and a lovely weekend away to Killarney.
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!
Friday take-out, a fresh haircut, dinner prep, and even a stop at Obama Plaza. Add in a fitness class with Fiona, a spin to Mount Shannon, and plenty of time spent out and about having fun… all in all, a busy enjoyable week.

It’s been a lovely week at the day service! From admiring the Christmas decorations and painting festive figures to preparing diamond art gifts for our upcoming markets, we’ve kept busy. We enjoyed a trip out for cake, did some baking in our new service, and DJ Ross ready to record his radio show. We also visited an aquarium, spent some time baking at the Family Resource Centre and watched Ireland play Japan in Rugby.
Have a wonderful weekend!
