**Respiratory Clinic**

Due to the recent rise in respiratory illnesses in the community, here at Cahernane Medical we will be providing an additional respiratory-focused clinic on Tuesday mornings from 8am.

This clinic is intended for patients who are experiencing respiratory symptoms.

APPOINTMENT NOTICE:

Here at Cahernane Medical we are currently experiencing an exceptionally high demand for appointments as we enter the winter season.

As a team we are working very hard to see every patient who needs our care.

Missed appointments have become a GROWING PROBLEM in our clinic and causes a significant drain on our resources.
Missing an appointment is a wasted opportunity for another patient to receive our care.
We require 24 hours notice for a cancellation. This will allow us to offer the appointment to someone else.

Repeated no-shows may impact your ability to book future appointments

In the event that you feel you will need extra time with the GP, please book a double appointment to facilitate this.

We are delighted to welcome our new GP Registrar Dr Alicja Strazewicz to Cahernane Medical Centre.

Cahernane Medical Centre is a training practice and part of the South West GP Training Scheme. GP Registrars are fully qualified and registered doctors, i.e. they have passed out of medical school and completed their 2 years of preregistration in hospital and been admitted as fully registered doctors on to the Irish Medical Council list.
