Anxiety

Maybe practise.

Adopt a beginners mind and put aside past beliefs about difficult situations.

Rather than trying to suppress negative emotions recognise them, acknowledge them, accept them.
Breathe. Observe. Respond rather than react.
Let go of your fears and worries about the past and future.
Focus on the present. In the present, if it helps, write down those fears, draw them, paint them, then let them go.
Allow yourself worry time and then move on.
Let go of guilt about feeling happy.

It’s ok to feel overwhelmed.
It’s ok to feel sad.
It’s ok to feel happy.

Accept responsibility for your mistakes and learn from them rather than ruminating in guilt.

Let go of control of those things you cannot control.

This is exceptional and welcome advice from Waterville and Sneem pharmacy. Remember the value of herbs and spices such as cayenne pepper, cinnamon, ginger and turmeric.
As an aid worker in Romania, I was the only one to stay well while using a sprinkle of these spices on my food, other aid workers fell ill with various illnesses such as sore throats and dysentery.
Deep breathing while you are walking in fresh air, a deep breath in and a long breath out for three seconds will help reduce stress and strengthen your immune system.
We are filling our bin up with stresses about the virus and day to day worries. When our bin is full we are unable to handle anything let alone potential infection.
What we’re thinking sets how we feel and how we feel defines how our body responds.
Each morning count ten things you are grateful for. Take three deep breaths.
