After many years involved in Martial Arts, Tai Chi & Fitness, I am a personal trainer as well as a Tai Chi instructor, tailored to the over 50's & 60's, to promote longevity, culminating of a programme to 'Stay Strong, Eat Well & Move Better'. I am an ITEC qualified Personal Trainer with 50 years of martial arts and fitness coaching experience but now predominantly use Tai Chi and Fitness training to offer online personal training to people in their 40's/50's/60's in order to help them lose weight, get strong, eat well and move better.

We're starting back next week with another set of Tai Chi/Qi Gong classes every Wednesday Lunch Time at The Urban Co-Op.
These 45 minute classes work on strengthening and mobilizing your joints, as well as giving you a great sense of relaxation, relieving any tension and stress. There are two classes available:
12.00 Noon New Beginner's classes, everybody welcome, no experience required.
1.10pm class is ideal for those who already have a little experience.

One of our recent purchases from The Urban Co-Op , after teaching our Tai Chi class, was organic Stoneground Fine Wholemeal flour, which we used to make the pastry base of our spinach & cheese quiche. This is one of the ingredient changes we made, replacing white flour with wholemeal flour. This base was made with wholemeal flour, butter, ground chia seeds & ground flax seeds, making it lovely & nutty in flavour!

We are enjoying Tai Chi, every Wednesday lunch time, at The Urban Co-Op, and it is proving to be quite popular!
So from the 1st of October onwards, we are going to add another class, Mid morning at 11.15am, which is also suitable for beginners.
Tai Chi is gentle movement with many health benefits including improving strength and mobility, and with the controlled breathing, leaves you refreshed and invigorated.

From the 1st of October onwards, we are starting a New Mid morning Tai Chi/Qi Gong class at The Urban Co-Op, Limerick, because our Lunch time Tai Chi/Qi Gong class is getting quite busy!
Tai Chi/Qi Gong exercises are very good for strengthening, balance, and joint mobility. The exercises and breathwork involved help with stress relief and induce relaxation. You don't need any experience to start and everybody is welcome.
