Bill at 80 years of age now and a total legend of American Cycling and former competitor in the Raleigh Dunlop Tour of Ireland in the 70s is riding the UCI World Gravel Championships this weekend.

Ive been helping Bill with his training the past while and looking forward to hooking up with him this weekend in Leuven Belgium.

If any of you are there give Bill a big shout out.

Entries close this evening, we cannot take entries tomorrow or on the line on the day so please if you want to do the Time Trial please enter today.

Entries will close Friday evening for this Sundays Noel & Kieran Hammond Time Trial. We will not be taking entries after this, please don't look for entries on the morning of the TT! We have to organise start times and rider schedule after entries close on Friday evening and email them to riders then on Saturday.

The Noel & Kieran Hammond Memorial Time Trials Sunday Aug 4th.

We will be catering for all categories so give it a go and test yourself! Even just come on your road bike we have a separate category for this too.

We are also delighted to be hosting a round of the National Para Cycle series.

Get your entries in for the Hammond memorial TT on the fast old N11 Beehive Course Sunday Aug 4th.

You don't have to have a fancy Time Trial bike, we have a separate ROAD BIKE ONLY Category. Come and give it a go on your road bike.

ROAD BIKE ONLY RULES:
-No Time Trial Helmets allowed
-No Tri Bars allowed
-No Disc Wheels or Tri or 4 Spoke wheels allowed.

Best of luck to all the riders and volunteers this week on the Rás Tailteann starting today. Fingers crossed you get good weather and safe racing. Fair play to the organisers for keeping this on the road in very difficult times for organisers and clubs. Riders please appreciate the volunteers who give up their time and personal resources. Enjoy the week and learn lots about yourself when things get tough!
I loved taking part in the Ras in the late 80s and mid 90's. This is myself on the Healy Pass in the 1989 Ras. I was half the man im am now!!!
