Porridge bread is one of the healthiest breads you can eat and is an excellent alternative to regular sliced pan bread. Its made from porridge oats so obviously its high in carbs, but its really easy to make and its 100% gluten free! Heres the recipe...

500g of porridge oats
500g pot of Greek yoghurt
2 eggs
1 tbsp of chia seeds
1 tbsp of flax seeds
2 tsp of baking soda
1 tsp of salt
6 tbsp raw or whole milk

Mix all the ingredients with your hands in a large bowl. Shape the dough into a bread loaf and place on a greased baking tray. Fan oven 150ยฐ for 65-70mins

Bu****it alert! More vegan propaganda in this latest netflix documentary.

Firstly the study they are highlighting was paid for by BEYOND MEAT who's best interest is obviously to promote vegan food.

There was a very slight reduction in LDL cholesterol in the vegan group but ldl cholesterol is a poor marker for good cardiovascular health in otherwise healthy individuals.

The vegan group lost more weight but what it doesn't tell us is that they ate less calories and sugar than the meat group.

The vegan dieters also felt the least satisfied with only one person admitting they would continue the diet.

We love fruit, vegetables and plants. And if a vegan diet was the best choice then of course we'd be promoting it. But it's not! It lacks many essential nutrients. If you want to reach optimal health then consume lots of farm fresh eggs, grass fed beef, wild caught fish, organic fruit and veg and some dairy

The answer to this question is yes! People with the condition known as Haemochromatosis - which is an overload of iron in the body - should limit their intake of red meat (because of the high levels of heme iron it contains). In these cases, proteins like farm fresh eggs, wild caught fish and organic beans are a better choice. But for everyone else, red meat is king ๐Ÿ‘‘
